We are pleased to share that Bogdan Andjelic, our part-time junior researcher and laboratory technician, has successfully completed his PhD program at the University of Palermo on December 11, earning the degree of Doctor of Health Promotion and Cognitive Sciences.

Throughout his doctoral training, Dr. Andjelic played an important role in several interventional and observational studies examining creatine metabolism under physiological and psychological stress. His contributions span work on dietary restriction, cognitive challenge paradigms, and exercise-related adaptations, with a particular focus on emerging bioenergetics-based biomarkers of stress and metabolic resilience.

Bogdan has co-authored research articles published in reputable journals, including Current Nutrition and Food Science, Progress in Nutrition, Human Nutrition and Metabolism, and the Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism. His rigorous experimental work and strong analytical skills have enriched our understanding of creatine turnover and its relevance across diverse stressed states.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Andjelic on this outstanding achievement and look forward to his continued scientific contributions as he advances in his career.
