Our Vision

The Applied Bioenergetics Lab is a creative and multidisciplinary research hub dedicated to advancing knowledge in basic, translational, and clinical bioenergetics. Our vision is to develop and evaluate innovative nutritional therapeutics that enhance mitochondrial function and metabolic health. Through collaboration with academic, industrial, and public partners, we aim to transform scientific discovery into impactful, efficient, and meaningful solutions for human health.

Our Approach

From designing novel compounds to measuring tissue metabolites and human performance, the Applied Bioenergetics Lab integrates cutting-edge technology with multidisciplinary expertise. Our state-of-the-art on- and off-site equipment enables precise investigation of biochemical, physiological, psychological, and clinical outcomes. This comprehensive approach allows us to explore the (patho)physiology of bioenergetics, monitor diverse biomarkers, and capture patient-reported outcomes—delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights for clinicians, collaborators, and scientific advancement.
