New highly-sensitive method for H2 measurement

Robust gas chromatography that detects even 0.001 mg of H2 in a solution

Dr Milan Vranes succeed in developing a valid and sensitive technique to measure the concentration of molecular hydrogen in different biologically relevant matrices –  from hydrogen-rich water to hydrogen-containing dietary supplements, with its use highly anticipated for analysis of human serum and urine.

This robust method uses HP gas chromatography, and appears to detect H2 in wide range of concentrations, with detection limit as low as 0.001 mg. Our first study with this innovative method essays several commercial products for hydrogen concentration.
