Ergogenic effects of hydrogen-infused water
New randomized controlled trial with hydrogen water
We are pleased to announce the launch of an innovative study investigating the potential effects of hydrogen on exercise performance, body composition, and health-related quality of life. Employing a randomized, placebo-controlled, crossover experimental design, this research will explore whether hydrogen-infused water, administered over a four-week period, can influence these key indices in healthy, young, physically active men and women.
The primary outcome measure for this study is the change in time to exhaustion during exercise, which will provide valuable insights into the ergogenic potential of hydrogen. Secondary outcomes include changes in body composition and various parameters of health-related quality of life, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of the intervention’s effects.
This study aims to contribute to the growing body of evidence surrounding hydrogen-based interventions and their applications in health and performance optimization. Updates on this exciting trial, including preliminary findings and implications, will be shared as the research progresses. Stay tuned for developments from this promising line of inquiry!
